On June 30, 2023, according to a reporter from Jiandao Network, the bidding announcement for the construction unit price contracting of the station building and related projects in the Ganqing section of the Xining Chengdu Railway has been released, and the construction unit is Chengdu Lanzhou Railway Co., Ltd. The Xining Chengdu Railway is the Chengdu–Lanzhou railway. The construction of the station buildings in Gansu Qinghai section will begin in May 2024, and will be opened in sections from 2027 to 2029.

The construction period of the Tangga'ang to Hezuo section is 5 years, which will be completed by the end of 2027 in sync with the Lanzhou Hezuo railway; The construction period of the cooperation to Langmu Temple (Huangshengguan) section is 6 years, and the Lanzhou Chengdu section will be opened in advance by the end of 2028; The construction period of Haixi Tanggaang Section is 7 years, and the Chengdu–Lanzhou railway will be completed and opened to traffic by the end of 2029. At that time, the running time of the high-speed train from Xining to Chengdu will be shortened from the current 9.5 hours to about 6 hours, and the train from Lanzhou to Chengdu will only take about 5.5 hours.

Project Overview

The Xining to Huangshengguan section (Ganqing section) of the Xining Chengdu Railway will be newly built, with a total length of 329.9km. It is a Class I double track railway with a bridge tunnel ratio of 90.8%. 59.808km/92 main line bridges; The length of the main line tunnel is 236.44km/51, including the introduction of relevant projects in the Xining area, and 8 new station buildings will be built in the Ganqing section.

Among them, Langmu Temple, Luqu, Jianzha, Hualong, and Ganjia stations adopt reinforced concrete frame structure systems; Cooperation, Xiahe, and Tongren stations are reinforced concrete frame+steel grid structure systems.

Scope of bidding

The construction of the 8 station buildings and related supporting projects for the Ganqing section of the Xining Chengdu Railway, including the construction area of the station buildings, is as follows:

Langmu Temple covers an area of 3999 square meters, Luqu 4000 square meters, Hezuo 7998 square meters, Xiahe 3972 square meters, Ganjia 1998 square meters, Tongren 7992 square meters, Jianzha 4999 square meters, and Hualong 4000 square meters;

The parking areas of railway passenger stations are respectively 5530 square meters at Hezuo Station, 6000 square meters at Hualong Station and Tongren Station, 5000 square meters at Jianzha Station, Xiahe Station, Luqu Station, and Langmusi Station, and 3000 square meters at Ganjia Station.

Planned duration

XCZF1 section: The total construction period is 2003 calendar days, with a planned start date of May 1, 2024 and a planned completion date of October 25, 2029. Among them:

Tangga'ang to Hezuo Section (Cooperation Station Building): Starting from May 1, 2024, completed on December 15, 2027.

Cooperation to Langmusi Section (Luqu Station, Langmusi Station Building): Starting from May 1, 2024, completed on October 25, 2028.

The section from Haidong to Tanggaoang (Xiahe Station and Ganjia Station Buildings) will start on July 1, 2025 and be completed on October 25, 2029.

XCZF2 section: The total construction period is 1577 calendar days, with a planned start date of July 1, 2025 and a planned completion date of October 25, 2029.
