Recently, 40 Jingzi 800 MW wind power projects in Mulei, Xinjiang have successfully connected to the grid for full capacity power generation, marking the official operation of the largest single unit capacity medium speed permanent magnet 7.5 MW wind turbine in Xinjiang.
This project is one of the first national large-scale clean energy base projects in Xinjiang to achieve full capacity grid connection. The project is located in the fourth wind farm of the forty well planning area in Mulei County, Changji, Xinjiang. The installed wind power capacity of this section is 500000 kilowatts, with 32 wind turbines installed with a single unit capacity of 6.25 megawatts, 44 wind turbines with a single unit capacity of 6.7 megawatts, and 1 wind turbine with a single unit capacity of 7.5 megawatts, totaling 77 units.
It is reported that after the project is put into operation, it is expected to add 2.2 billion kilowatt hours of green electricity, utilize 2426 hours, save 670000 tons of standard coal carbon annually, reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 1.76 million tons, and assist Xinjiang in actively building a modern industrial system supported by eight major industrial clusters, including coal, electricity, coal chemical industry cluster, and new energy and new materials industry cluster, to promote the transformation of Xinjiang's energy and resource advantages into economic advantages, Driving the high-quality development of Xinjiang's economy and society is of great significance.
