The 56th ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting and a series of meetings were recently held in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia. Over the years, China's relationship with ASEAN has been continuously deepening, promoting common development through cooperation. Several Indonesian officials and scholars have also given positive evaluations to China's cooperation with ASEAN and Indonesia, and hope that such cooperation can continue to deepen and contribute to regional stability and prosperity.

Mohamed Faisal, Indonesian economist and executive director of the Indonesian Economic Reform Center: Since 2015, China's investment in Indonesia has significantly increased, with the most famous being the Jakarta Bandung high-speed rail project. This will be the first high-speed railway in Indonesia and also the first high-speed railway in Southeast Asia.
