Under the support of the carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals, new energy installations set sail. In recent years, Guizhou has seized the opportunity of new energy development, and new energy industries such as wind power and photovoltaic power generation have developed rapidly. While vigorously developing green energy, Guizhou also makes full use of the land under the photovoltaic panels to grow crops, driving farmers with conditions to develop animal husbandry. As of the end of June 2023, the total installed capacity of new energy in Guizhou Province has reached 21.81 million kilowatts, and the economic benefits generated by these wind and sun are gradually becoming the new driving force for the development of mountainous areas in Guizhou.
