On July 18, 2023, the Hunan Provincial Public Resource Trading Center released a bidding announcement for the bundled franchise project of the G4 Beijing Hong Kong Macao Expressway Zhuzhou Wangshiwan (Zhuting) to Leiyang Dashi Section expansion project, which includes the Guidong Xintian (Ningyuan) Expressway Guidong Chenzhou section. Current status of existing road section projects

The existing section from the south side of Zhuting Interchange to Hongshi Interchange is approximately 57.297 kilometers long, belonging to the Xiangtan to Hengyang section of the Xiangtan to Leiyang Expressway, and the Hongshi Interchange to Dashi Town section is approximately 39.029 kilometers long, belonging to the Hengyang to Leiyang section of the Xiangtan to Leiyang Expressway.

Expansion plan for this project

The project is to change the existing road section from "four to eight". The main line starts from the south of Zhuting Interchange of Beijing Hong Kong Macao Expressway in Lukou District, Zhuzhou City and ends at Dashi Town, Leiyang City, Hengyang City. The total length is about 96 kilometers. The estimated investment is about 15.1 billion yuan. The necessary connecting lines, Transportation engineering and facilities along the line will be constructed simultaneously. The main line adopts the standard construction of a two-way eight lane highway. In addition, this project needs to bear the construction cost of Hunan Province's road network monitoring and networking toll cloud project, which is approximately 28.8 million yuan, which will be included in the total project investment. The specific usage requirements of this fee shall be implemented in accordance with the Hunan Provincial Road Network Monitoring and Networking Toll Cloud Project Implementation Plan approved by the Hunan Provincial Department of Transportation.

Guidong Xintian (Ningyuan) Expressway Guidong Chenzhou Section Project

The main line of the project starts from Guidong County, Chenzhou City and ends at Suxian District, Chenzhou City, with a total length of about 93 kilometers and an estimated investment of about 16.9 billion yuan.
