It is reported that in June 2023, Xinjiang's external power transmission reached 10.675 billion kilowatt hours, which effectively supports the national power supply guarantee.

It is understood that among the 10.675 billion kilowatt hours of exported electricity, 3.714 billion kilowatt hours of new energy are exported, accounting for 34.79% of the total exported electricity, equivalent to reducing the combustion of 1.1234 million tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 3.0334 million tons.

According to statistics, in June 2023, there were 14 provinces and cities in Xinjiang that were exporting electricity, with Henan, Anhui, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu delivering the most electricity, with 4.507 billion kilowatt hours, 2.577 billion kilowatt hours, 1.271 billion kilowatt hours, and 1.223 billion kilowatt hours, respectively, accounting for 89.72% of the total exported electricity.

Since June 2023, temperatures across China have continued to rise, and energy companies have entered the peak summer supply guarantee period. State Grid Xinjiang Electric Power Co., Ltd. shoulders the primary responsibility of ensuring power supply, adheres to the principle of "one grid, one game", and coordinates the two markets inside and outside Xinjiang. By increasing the organization of Xinjiang power transmission transactions, optimizing the timing of inter provincial transaction organizations, increasing the frequency of power generation plan adjustment, promoting the coordinated optimization and operation of energy storage, new energy, and conventional power sources, and doing a good job in precise peak shifting and mutual assistance between provinces, while ensuring the balance of electricity in Xinjiang, Efforts will be made to mobilize the power supply resources throughout Xinjiang to the greatest extent possible, enhance the power transmission capacity of Xinjiang, and continue to play a positive role in supporting the national power supply guarantee.

In June 2023, among the four external transmission channels, 1.53 billion kWh will be transmitted from two AC channels, 4.058 billion kWh from Hami South Zhengzhou ± 800 kV DC transmission project, and 5.087 billion kWh from Zhundong South Anhui ± 1100 kV extra High-voltage direct current project.

In the near future, due to the impact of large-scale high-temperature weather, the high temperature load in various regions will gradually increase. State Grid Xinjiang Electric Power Co., Ltd. will take into account both the internal and external markets of Xinjiang, combine the operation situation of the power grid, implement various measures to ensure power supply, fully improve the power supply guarantee ability and power grid resource allocation ability, enhance inter provincial mutual aid support ability, and ensure reliable power supply during peak summer.
