CWE Philippines won the bid for the Casablanca Water Supply Tunnel Project

Recently, CWE Philippines Co., Ltd. won the bid for the design and construction project of the Casablanca Water Supply Tunnel. The project is located in Antipolo City, east of Manila, the capital of the Philippines, with a planned duration of 774 days. The main construction contents include a reinforced concrete fully lined tunnel, Penstock and valves with a diameter of 3.83 meters and a total length of 6.1 kilometers. The construction is carried out with a double shield full face hard rock tunnel boring machine (TBM).

After the completion of the project, it will effectively improve the water shortage problem in the Philippine capital and surrounding areas, benefiting approximately 14.7 million people.

China's 15th Metallurgical Corporation won the bid for the Mirador Copper Mine Project in Ecuador

On July 25, 2023, the Second Company of the 15th Metallurgical Group received two letters of acceptance for Mirador Copper Mine 46.2 million tons/year (expansion) mining and beneficiation project from Tongling Nonferrous Metals Metal Group Holding Co., Ltd., with a total winning amount of 23.8529 million dollars.

It is reported that the construction site of the project is located in Mirador, Panji City, Zamora Chinchipe Province, Ecuador, where the winning bid price of the concentrator (bid 2) is 20.4375 million dollars. The project construction mainly includes the coarse ore pile, belt gallery, Transport hub, all civil works and installation works of the concentrator's steel ball silo, etc. The bid price for the second contractor's camp project is 3.4154 million US dollars, mainly for the construction of single-story dormitories, Chinese restaurants, and Western restaurants, with a total construction area of approximately 5531 square meters.Editor/Ma Xue
