In a recent interview with Xinhua News Agency reporters, the Governor of West Java Province in Indonesia, Ridwan Kamil, stated that the Yawan high-speed railway will drive new economic growth in Indonesia and create more development opportunities.

As of now, the Yawan high-speed rail project has absorbed 51000 local employment opportunities in Indonesia. After completion and opening to traffic, more Indonesian employees will have the opportunity to receive technical training from China and work on the Yawan high-speed railway.

The Yawan high-speed railway is the first high-speed railway with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour in Indonesia and even Southeast Asia, and it is also the first overseas construction project of China's high-speed railway with a full system, full elements, and full industry chain. The Yawan high-speed railway, built entirely according to Chinese standards, is injecting new impetus into Indonesia's economic and social development.

The Jakarta Bandung high-speed railway connects the Indonesian capital Jakarta and the tourist city Bandung, with a total length of 142.3 kilometers. After the project is completed, the travel time from Jakarta to Bandung will be reduced from more than 3 hours to 40 minutes, greatly improving local transportation conditions and driving economic and social development along the line.Editor/Ma Xue
