It is understood that in 2023, Trina Solar will once again invest billions in the Huai'an Economic and Technological Development Zone. On April 19, it signed a 10GW new generation high-efficiency photovoltaic cell project, and on July 20, it signed a 50GW monocrystalline silicon wafer project. Since settling in the Huai'an Economic and Technological Development Zone in 2022, the cumulative investment of Trina Solar's Huai'an Base project has reached 20 billion yuan. After all projects are completed and put into operation, it is expected to achieve an annual output value of about 80 billion yuan and a tax payment of over 1.5 billion yuan. At that time, it will become Trina Solar's largest integrated manufacturing base for silicon wafer battery modules.

Gu Kun pointed out that currently, Huai'an is demonstrating new achievements in strengthening, supplementing, and extending the chain, accelerating the cultivation of "7+3" advanced manufacturing clusters and advantageous industrial chains, and making every effort to build a cluster for the integrated development of advanced manufacturing industries in the Yangtze River Delta.
