On the morning of August 23, 2023, Lucheng District held a centralized commencement ceremony for the 2023 new construction projects and the Tianchen Guangyun 150MW wind power generation project. District Party Secretary Duan Yaogang attended and announced the start of the project.

The Tianchen Guangyun 150MW wind power project is located in Lucheng District, Changzhi City, Shanxi Province, with a planned capacity of 150MW. The center of the site is approximately 7.0km away from the county seat of Lucheng District in a straight line. Based on the comprehensive conditions of transportation, construction, and industrial development in the site, it is initially planned to select 30 wind turbines with a single unit capacity of 5000kW for this project. The installed capacity of this project is 150MW, with the construction of 30 wind turbines and supporting auxiliary facilities, as well as the construction of a 220KV booster station. The total investment of this project is 1.037 billion yuan, with a construction period of 12 months. The annual online electricity consumption is 33713.7kWh, which can save about 102800 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 280500 tons per year.

Since 2023, Lucheng District has been closely focusing on the development goal of creating one district and two places, wholeheartedly engaging in investment promotion, wholeheartedly focusing on projects, and striving for development.
