On August 29, 2023, the National Energy Group Guizhou Ningjianglong Wind Power Project, undertaken by Southern Power Grid Guizhou Power Transmission and Transformation Co., Ltd., officially began construction. The construction of the project will promote the development of wind resources and local economic development, optimize the regional power grid structure, alleviate local environmental protection pressure, and promote the development of local related industries.

It is understood that the total investment of the Jianglong Wind Farm project in Zhenning County is about 590 million yuan. It was included in the second batch of wind power annual construction scale projects in Guizhou Province issued by the Guizhou Provincial Energy Bureau on December 23, 2021. The project is located in Jianglong Town and Geli Township, Zhenning County, with a land area of about 34.59 hectares.

The total installed capacity of this project is 100 megawatts, and one new 110 kV booster station will be built. It will be connected to the 220 kV Yapu substation through a 110 kV transmission line. The length of the line is about 35 kilometers, and it is connected to the Anshun regional power grid through the transmission channel of the Yapu substation.
