Over the past decade, China has been Africa's largest trading partner. Countries are closely connected through cooperation and exchanges in facilities connectivity and unimpeded trade.
China has invested a lot in Ethiopia and Ghana, with numerous companies investing and operating there and participating in the construction of a large number of infrastructure facilities. The more famous ones include Africa's first transnational electrified railway, the Addis Ababa-Djibouti Railway, Ghana's second largest hydroelectric power station, Bouwi Hydropower Station, etc.
This time we visited two doctoral students from Ethiopia and Ghana.Through their perspectives, we can see how Hong Kong, as a functional platform for jointly building the Belt and Road Initiative, with its multicultural society and excellent universities and supporting facilities, can attract students from countries related to the Belt and Road Initiative to study, exchange and pursue their dreams.
