The A380 highway is an important corridor within the framework of the Central Asian Regional Economic Cooperation Plan, connecting Uzbekistan with Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan. China Railway Twenty Bureau successfully won the bid for the 87km reconstruction project of Uzbekistan's A380 highway with a contract value of about 700 million yuan and a construction period of 36 months. It is the country's largest highway construction project in recent years.

After the project is completed, the road will be changed from the original 2 lanes to 4 lanes, and the driving speed will also be increased to 120 kilometers per hour, which greatly facilitates the local people to travel and effectively promote the economic and social development of Uzbekistan.
