On the morning of September 22, 2023, the commencement ceremony of the 150MW wind power project of the State Power Investment Corporation in Huaiyuan County was held. Wang Qingwu, Deputy Secretary of the Bengbu Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Huaiyuan County Party Committee, attended the event and announced the start of the project.

It is understood that the National Power Investment Huaiyuan County 150MW wind power project is located in Changfen Town, Tangji Town, Wanfu Town, and Lanqiao Town on the southwest side of Huaiyuan County, Bengbu City, Anhui Province. It covers an area of 33.8 acres and is planned to be fully connected to the grid for power generation by December 30, 2024.
