During the construction of the Upper Sisoke pumped storage power station project in Indonesia, China Energy Construction Gezhouba Group demonstrated its strong technical strength and project management capabilities. The construction of the power station will not only promote the development of local clean renewable energy, but will also help Indonesia achieve its net-zero carbon emission goal.

The Upper Sisokai Pumped Storage Power Station Project in Indonesia is located in the upper reaches of the Sisokane River in Java Island, Indonesia, 190 kilometers away from the capital Jakarta and about 65 kilometers away from Bandung. The power station is equipped with four 260-megawatt generating units with a total installed capacity of 1,040 megawatts. China Energy Construction Gezhouba Group undertook the construction tasks of two tender sections, 1A and 1B. Section 1A is mainly for the construction of the upper and lower reservoir dams. The upper reservoir dam that started construction is a roller compacted concrete gravity dam with a crest length of 375 meters and a height of 75.5 meters. The concrete pouring volume is approximately 411,500 cubic meters. It is expected that 30% of the excavation task will be completed by the end of 2023 and completed in 2026 All dam construction tasks.

The Upper West Sokai Pumped Storage Power Station project in Indonesia is led by China Energy Construction Gezhouba Group. It forms a joint venture with South Korea's DL E&C and Indonesia's local state-owned enterprise WIKA to be responsible for the project construction. It is responsible for the project construction progress, cost, quality, safety, environmental protection, etc. Fully responsible.

The project construction adopts European and American standards as well as Indonesian standards. Since the full launch of the project on July 5, 2023, the construction of key parts such as campsites and explosive depots has been completed on site in accordance with the established goals. During the construction process, on-site engineers strictly controlled the approval of various technical, environmental protection, safety and other plans. During the disclosure process, digital technology was used on-site to conduct three-dimensional modeling of key construction parts, and visualization was used to conduct intuitive and systematic disclosure and simulation.

The Upper Sisoke Pumped Storage Power Station in Indonesia is a landmark project for the Indonesian government to promote the 2025 target of 23% renewable energy and realize the national energy transformation. Once completed, the power station will greatly promote the development of local clean renewable energy and increase energy consumption. The power generation capacity during peak power periods will help Indonesia achieve its net-zero carbon emissions goal as soon as possible.

On-site equipment will be brought in and installed on September 28, 2023. On September 29, 7,000 cubic meters of camp excavation and backfilling were completed, and 26 galvanized gabions were installed in the camp, with a total of 195 completed. On September 30, the construction of 40 cubic meters of mortar stone retaining wall on Platform No. 1, the pouring of 5 cubic meters of concrete on the platform, and the excavation of 60 meters of water interception ditch were completed. On October 1, the filling and compaction of subgrade layer A and the excavation of the corrugated guardrail foundation were completed. On October 1, 2023, the filling and compaction of subgrade layer A and the excavation of the corrugated guardrail foundation will be completed. On October 2, 4,000 square meters of the on-site explosives depot was cleared. During the Double Festival period from October 3rd to 5th, the excavation and backfill measurement of the 100 meters of earthwork in front of the No. 1 normal concrete mixing station, camp, 5#TR Road, and 3#TR Road were completed, and 6 new control points were completed. Burial work.

The Upper West Sokai Pumped Storage Power Station Project in Indonesia is another large-scale infrastructure construction project undertaken by China Energy Construction Gezhouba Group overseas. The project adopts European and American standards as well as Indonesian standards. Since the full launch of the project on July 5, 2023, the construction of key parts such as campsites and explosive depots has been completed on site in accordance with the established goals. Through this project, China Energy Construction Gezhouba Group not only promotes local economic development and improves people's livelihood, but also inherits Chinese corporate culture and craftsman spirit.
