Recently, the Line Transport Institute of China Railway First Survey and Design Institute Group Co., Ltd. successfully led the implementation of the EPC general contracting project of the railway dedicated line for the 2×1000 MW coal-fired unit expansion project of Gansu Electric Investment Zhangye Power Plant, and held a groundbreaking ceremony at the Zhangye Power Plant. This marks that the project has entered the formal construction stage. The total investment of this project reaches 90 million, and the construction period is expected to be one year. It will add an empty train line, a heavy train line and a quick assembly line each, and will also build a signal building and a production and living house. After the project is completed, it will effectively improve coal transportation efficiency, reduce transaction costs, optimize resource allocation, and actively promote the development of local and surrounding economies.

In order to meet the owner's requirements for project progress, the Line Transport Institute team has made arrangements in advance, carefully organized and rapidly advanced since the tender notice was issued. In just 100 days, the project bidding document preparation, site survey, preliminary design, construction drawing design, document review, construction unit bidding and site entry were completed. This achievement demonstrates the team's efficient execution and professionalism.
