Recently, Inner Mongolia Xinlianxin Biotechnology Co., Ltd. launched a project on the integrated recycling and efficient utilization of biomass formaldehyde heat electricity fertilizer and downstream industry chain in Dalate Banner, Ordos City. The project has a total investment of 1.15 billion yuan and covers an area of 276.9 acres. It will be constructed in two phases. The first phase of the project will construct facilities with an annual production of 20000 tons of furfural and 300000 tons of biomass organic fertilizer, and be equipped with 2 × 35t/h biomass boiler and 1 × 4MW back pressure generator set.

The project uses agricultural waste corn cob as raw material to extract furfural from its half fiber, and uses the residue after extracting furfural as fuel for biomass boilers, forming a green, energy-saving, and sustainable circular development industrial chain. At present, the project is in the golden period of autumn construction. The workers are rushing to work and progress, fully promoting the construction of civil engineering projects, and ensuring that the construction tasks are completed strictly according to the timeline.

After the completion of this project, 250000 tons of corn cobs will be efficiently utilized annually, effectively solving the environmental governance problems caused by farmers and herdsmen burning corn cobs on site, and also expanding the income sources of farmers and herdsmen. In addition, the project can reduce the use of standard coal by 66000 tons and carbon dioxide emissions by 180000 tons per year without increasing the total regional standard coal index.

The commencement of construction of this project marks a solid step for Dalat Banner in promoting resource recycling and promoting the transformation of traditional industries towards greenery. This will lay a more solid foundation for Dalat Banner to further stabilize and take a new path of high-quality development guided by ecological priority and green development.  Editor/Yang Yang
