On the morning of October 24, 2023, the fourth batch of key projects of the National Energy Group were held through a video conference. As one of the 37 projects under centralized construction, the Guohua Shandong Dongying HG14 offshore photovoltaic project held a commencement ceremony at the branch venue of Guangli Lingang Industrial Park.

This project is a concrete practice of actively responding to the national "dual carbon" policy, adhering to diversified driving, deepening the "bridge+" development pattern, and also a phased achievement of vigorously developing the "marine economy" strategy in the state-owned enterprise China Railway Bridge Bureau.

It is reported that the Guohua Shandong Dongying HG14 offshore photovoltaic project has an investment of about 8 billion yuan, invested and constructed by Shandong Guohua Times Investment Development Co., Ltd., with China Railway Bridge Bureau participating in the construction.

After the project is completed and put into operation, it can generate 1.652 billion kilowatt hours of electricity annually, which can meet the electricity demand of about 550000 households for one year, replace about 503800 tons of standard coal, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 1.3447 million tons.
