It is reported that the recent connection project of the Central Ring City has a total length of 43.8 kilometers, which is an important project for the Quanzhou Municipal Party Committee and Government to promote the "smooth integration of the city" project, build a "first ring city, second ring bay, and multi-directional radiation" rapid transportation system, and accelerate the "east expansion and west connection" of the Quanzhou urban area. Among them, the Jinjiang section has a total length of 9.5 kilometers and a total investment of 3 billion yuan. The route plan is Chifeng Road Fengchi Road Citong Bridge Jiangbin South Road Jinjiang Bridge. The entire line is constructed according to the speed standard, with six lanes in both directions on the main line, a roadbed width of 50-70 meters, and a design speed of 60-80 kilometers per hour. After the completion of the project, it will effectively open up the ring expressway system around the bay and promote the rapid development of the north and south sides of Jinjiang towards the bay.

In order to efficiently promote project construction, Jinjiang plans to generate four projects: Chifeng Road Expressway, Fengchi Road Expressway, Jiangbin South Road East Section Expressway Project, and the South Node Renovation Project of the Citong Bridge. At present, all three expedited projects have been launched; The renovation project of the southern node of the Citong Bridge is accelerating construction and is expected to be completed and put into use by the end of November.

The construction of the Jinjiang section marks the comprehensive start of the recent construction of the Central Ring City.
