On November 28, 2023, the temporary construction project of the Zile Expressway, undertaken by China Railway Beijing Engineering Bureau, successfully passed the acceptance inspection, marking the official start of construction of the TJ6 section of the Zile Expressway project.

The Zizhong Leshan Expressway project starts from Yuxi Town, Zizhong County, Neijiang City and ends at Guanmiao Township, Shizhong District, Leshan City, with a total length of 93.097 kilometers. The TJ6 section of the Zile Expressway, constructed by China Railway Beijing Bureau, is located in Shizhong District, Leshan City, with a total construction length of 10.0915 kilometers.

The project is located in Wulishan, Wuxing Village, Jianfeng Town, Shizhong District, Leshan City, on the right side of the route, adjacent to Lejing Road, with convenient transportation. At present, the temporary construction project has met the relevant standardized construction requirements, passed the acceptance smoothly, and is allowed to be put into use, providing important guarantees for the entire construction line and laying a solid foundation for subsequent work.

To ensure the smooth commencement of the project, since entering the site, the project department has adhered to the concept of starting with high standards and constructing with high quality. We have been running on site, carefully planning, actively coordinating with various units, and efficiently promoting various work such as handling construction land procedures and temporary construction of the site. At the same time, the project department strengthens technical guidance and guarantees, accelerates the review of construction drawings, prepares construction plans and operation manuals, strengthens on-site training and disclosure, organizes expert reviews of the plans, and successfully meets the commencement conditions while meeting personnel configuration, mechanical equipment, materials, site layout, information construction, and other commencement requirements, effectively promoting the construction progress of the Zile Expressway.

After the completion of the project, it will accelerate Sichuan's integration into major strategic layouts such as the development of the national Yangtze River Economic Belt and the new round of western development; To connect the ecological and economic zones of western Sichuan, southern Sichuan, and Chengdu Chongqing, and promote rapid communication between the southern and western regions of Sichuan and the Chengdu Chongqing Economic Zone; Further improve the regional road network and strengthen the road network connection between urban agglomerations in southern Sichuan; It plays a crucial role in promoting the construction of the Chengdu Chongqing dual city economic circle.
