Yingkou, Liaoning has successfully introduced a clean energy project with a production value of billions of yuan. On November 30, 2023, Huaneng New Energy Co., Ltd.'s Mengdong Branch, Everbright Blue Sky Environmental Protection Technology Beijing Co., Ltd., Zhongke Liaoning Clean Energy Group Co., Ltd. of the New Energy Business Unit of Zhongmin Industrial Group signed an investment cooperation agreement with the Xianren Island Economic Development Zone Management Committee in Tongyingkou, planning to build a low-carbon industrial project with an annual output of 5 million tons of alcohol hydrogen clean fuel. This measure marks significant progress in promoting the development of clean energy industry in Yingkou, Liaoning.

According to the agreement, the total investment of the project is about 6.05 billion yuan, with "wind and solar green power+green hydrogen+carbon dioxide capture+green alcohol" as the main technical route. The business covers various links in the entire industry chain of alcohol hydrogen fuel production, storage, transportation, processing, use, and research. For every 110000 tons of alcohol hydrogen fuel produced, it can directly reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 160000 tons. The project's energy mainly comes from wind, solar, and green power, in order to achieve overall low-carbon and even zero carbon operation.

After the completion of this clean energy project, it will provide energy support for areas such as transportation, industrial production, and daily life. It is expected to have an annual output value of no less than 20 billion yuan, create more than 2 billion yuan in tax revenue, and drive nearly a thousand people to find employment. To ensure the smooth progress of the project, the local government will jointly establish a project special fund with investors.
