The ability of a city's traffic to operate affects the development of the city, especially in the capital cities with large populations. On April 15, 2020, the first-phase engineering geological survey project of Changsha Rail Transit Line 7 completed the negotiation work in the competitive negotiation room of Changsha Rail Transit Group Co., Ltd., and determined that Changsha Planning, Survey, Design and Research Institute was the Selected unit.
The planned construction period of the first phase of Line 7 is from 2021 to 2025. At present, the first section of Yuntang Station-Wulipai Station will be constructed first, along the existing Shaoshan Road, with a total length of 16.8 kilometers, and 16 stations and 15 sections are planned.
The first phase of Line 7 (Yuntang Station-Wulipai Station) starts at Yuntang Station and ends at Wulipai Station. The total length of the line is about 17km. There are 16 stations, all of which are underground island-style stations. There are 9 stations, with an average station spacing of about 1133m; one South Third Ring Car Depot; one main substation of Shaoshan Road Vehicle Inspection Station; and the second control center.
The first-phase line of Line 7 starts at Yuntang Station at the intersection of Shaoshan Road and Wanjiali Road. It reserves the extension conditions to the south and crosses the Third Ring Line, Changzhutan Intercity Railway, Beijing-Guangzhou Railway and Juyuan along Shaoshan Road to the north Overpass, Laolu Road Overpass, Yuntang Station, Environmental Protection Avenue Station, Wanfu South Road Station, South Bus Station, Red Star Market Station, Zhengtang Road Station, Jingwanzi Station, Linke University Station, East Railway Station, Yuhuating Station, Shazitang Station, Dongtang Station, Chengnan Road Station, Yaoling Station, then the line is transferred to the plot, and Yuanjialing Station is set on the east side of Shaoshan North Road, and the line is turned east into Bayi Road. There is a Wuli station on the east side of the intersection of Luxiaoyuan Road, and conditions for extension to the east are reserved.
The construction of rail transit is more convenient for citizens to travel, and it is also conducive to the better implementation of low-carbon public transportation modes. It is also conducive to strengthening the economic radiation capacity of Changsha Central City, further exerting the advantages of rail transit networking, and improving the overall benefit of the line network.
