On December 20, 2023, the groundbreaking ceremony for the first rooftop distributed photovoltaic project in Zhejiang Oilfield, Jiangsu Dongtai Zhitai rooftop distributed photovoltaic project, was held in Jiangsu Dongtai Economic Development Zone. The project is expected to be completed and put into operation in April 2024.

The Jiangsu Dongtai Zhitai Roof Distributed Photovoltaic Project utilizes the roof of Zhitai New Energy (Dongtai) Co., Ltd. to build a new phase I factory with an area of approximately 28000 square meters. A photovoltaic power station will be constructed using a "decentralized inverter+centralized grid connection" layout. The inverter's AC power will be boosted to achieve spontaneous self use and surplus power grid connection, achieving the goal of carbon reduction.

"The construction of this project is an important measure to implement the national 'dual carbon' goals and is of great significance in promoting the green and low-carbon transformation of Zhejiang Oilfield," said Wang Haichen, Project Manager of Jiangsu Market Development Department of Zhejiang Oilfield's New Energy Business Unit.

The New Energy Division combines project construction with improving people's livelihoods, striving to create it into a regional boutique project. During project operation, the business unit will comprehensively strengthen project management, scientifically organize, refine construction schedule arrangements, strictly control the "four elements" of safety, quality, investment, and construction period, and ensure safe and orderly construction.
