It is reported that the starting point of this desert highway from Weili to Qimo is located in Talimu Township, Yuli County, 15 kilometers away from Yuli County. After the road crosses the Taklimakan Desert, it is connected to the currently under construction Ruoqiang-Minfeng Highway near Qimo County. The total length of the highway is about 333 kilometers, of which the desert section is about 304 kilometers.
