On the morning of May 18, 2020, Chengdu Rail Transit's "Concentration Commencement Ceremony of the Third Line and Mobilization Conference of the 500-Kilometer Labor Competition" was held, and the construction of the second phase of Metro Line 8, the first phase of Line 27, and the first phase of Line 30 officially started The curtain.

Chengdu Rail Transit Line 8 generally runs from southwest to northeast. The second phase of Line 8 is an extension of the first phase, which is divided into two sections; the southwest extension has 1 station and 1 section, and the line is 1.25km long.

Northeast There are 6 stations and 6 sections in the extension section, and the line length is 6.56km. The second phase of Line 8 has a total length of 7.81km, all of which are underground lines, with a total of 7 stations, including 3 transfer stations, with an average station spacing of 1.12km and a maximum operating speed of 80km / h.

After the project is completed, it will strengthen the connection between the surrounding areas of the city and the central city, support the construction of the Longtan Headquarters Economic City, build a rail transit network, connect passenger transportation hubs, and further improve the function of rail transit line 8.

The first phase of Chengdu Rail Transit Line 27 project starts from Xiangcheng Avenue Station in Xindu District in the north. The total length of the line is 24.86km (overhead line is about 7.52km and underground line is 17.34km). There are 23 stations, including 9 interchange stations. 

The average station spacing is 1.10km and the maximum operating speed is 80km / h. There are 1 Dafeng vehicle base, 2 Dafeng and Weijianian main offices, and the control center shares the line network new seedling control center.

After the project is completed, it will strengthen the transportation links between the northern area of Chengdu and the central urban area, promote the "Northern Reform" of the city, expand the service level of rapid rail transit, and improve the public transportation conditions for residents along the line.

The first phase of Chengdu Rail Transit Line 30 starts at Terminal 2 of Shuangliu Airport. The length of the first phase of the project is about 26.284km, all of which are underground lines. 

There are 23 stations, including 14 interchange stations, with an average distance of 1.17. km, the maximum operating speed is 80km / h. Set up 1 Gaobeiba vehicle base and 1 Hongjiaqiao parking lot; 2 Gaobeiba main substations and Hongjiaqiao main substations; the control center shares the line network new seedling control center. After the project is completed, it will strengthen the east-west transportation links in Chengdu, guide the city to the east, provide support for the "eastward" strategy, and further improve Chengdu's rail transit network.

The construction of the project marks the 176.65 kilometers of 8 projects planned for the fourth phase of urban rail transit in Chengdu, and all of them have started construction.

It also marks that Chengdu will form a rail transit network with a total length of more than 700 kilometers. This construction will be convenient for residents to travel. It is conducive to the construction of Chengdu's rail transit network, and is more conducive to promoting mutual exchanges and cooperation between industries to achieve a win-win economic situation.
