On May 28, 2020, the Natural Resources and Planning Bureau of Shaoxing City issued an announcement that China Railway and Beijing Urban Construction won the bid for the construction of the first phase of Shaoxing City Rail Transit Line 2 project. The details are as follows:

The starting point of the first phase of Line 2 project of Shaoxing City is Yuexi Road Station and the end point is Yuexing Road Station. The length of the line is 10.80 kilometers. They are all laid by underground lines and 9 stations are provided (of which Jinghu Station is line 1 In the same period), the Paojiang depot is set up, and two main substations are set up, which are the Olympic main substation (formerly Line 1 Jinghu main transformer, built by Line 1) and Paojiang Lianghu main transformer substation, The construction site is located in Shaoxing City and is planned to be completed in 2023.

The main scope of the civil construction 01 section (one station) is Yuexi Road Station (the net length of the base pit on the right side of the station is 507.976m, the net length of the left side pit is 502.945m, the net width is 18.90 ~ 27.7m, and the depth of the standard section is about 17.2 ~ 18.2m, the depth of the foundation pit at the west end of the well is about 19.2m, the depth of the foundation pit at the east end of the well is about 18.7m, and the depth of the foundation pit at the three-layer transfer node is about 26.2m. The foundation pit is constructed by open-cut method. There are 4 entrances and exits, 2 sets of air pavilions, 1 barrier-free elevator, 1 Security exits. The entrances and exits are set along both sides of the Yangjiang Road and Ligushe planned roads, and Paozhong Road Station (Paozhong Road Station is the long-term Line 5 interchange station, the Line 2 station part and the transfer node will be implemented in this phase. It is a two-layer underground (partial three-layer) reinforced concrete box structure, and the auxiliary structures are all one-layer underground structures.
