The straight-line distance from Jieshou city center is about 7.2 kilometers, and the highway distance is about 12.7 kilometers. The project is planned to occupy a total area of 466 acres and be constructed according to the general A-class airport standard. The design flight class is 2B, the runway length is 1000 meters, and the facilities such as taxiway, station, office area, maintenance area, oil depot area and fire fighting are equipped. It is 350 million yuan and the construction period is 15 months. It is expected to be completed and put into operation at the end of 2021.

After completion and commissioning, the General Airport of Jieshou City will play a functional role in general aviation business training, aircraft assembly test flight and trusteeship.
