On June 15, 200, the Lisha Railway Jinsha River Super Large Bridge, which was built by the China Railway Bridge Bureau, successfully completed the first mid-span steel truss girder.

The Jinsha River Super Bridge is located at the junction of Lijiang City and Shangri-La City, Yunnan Province, across the Tiger Leaping Gorge in Yunnan, and is a control project of the Lixiang Railway. The total length of the bridge is 882.5 meters. The main bridge is a suspension and overhanging steel truss suspension bridge. Both ends are connected to the tunnel. The mountains on both sides are steep. The mid-span steel truss to be hoisted is 24.4 meters long, 12 meters high, and weighs 640. Tons, the operation is very difficult.

The China Railway Bridge Bureau cooperated with a Chinese professional team to independently develop a cable crane specifically designed for the construction of the Jinshajiang Super Large Bridge. The design of the crane itself has reached 800 tons, which is the largest lifting height of the same type in China.

Due to the limited construction site, the height difference from the top of the cable tower to the steel beam assembly site is 330 meters, which is also the largest cable crane in the world. Because the entire bridge crosses the Jinsha River, the mountains on both sides are steep, and the top of the cable tower to the steel beam. The height difference of the assembly field reached 330 meters. The steel beams of the Jinshajiang Super Large Bridge have a total of 71 sections, 21 side spans, and 50 mid-spans. The mid-span adopts double-segment integral hoisting, a total of 25 double-segment sections. It is expected that the bridge will be hoisted in about 3 months. Completed in time.

The Lixiang Railway has a total length of 139 kilometers and a design speed of 120 kilometers per hour. After it is completed and opened to traffic, it will connect Dali to Lijiang Railway, Guangtong to Dali Railway, and Chengdu-Kunming Railway.
