On June 19, 2020, the signing ceremony of the Congo (DRC) Mbuji Mayi Airport Upgrade and Reconstruction Project was grandly held at the headquarters of the DRC Civil Aviation Administration.

The project is funded by the African Development Bank and is located on the outskirts of Mbuji Mayi, the capital of the Eastern Kasai Province of the Democratic Republic of Congo. The main construction contents are: upgrade the existing 2.3-kilometer airport runway, construct an airport taxiway, apron and navigation aids, and construct an airport control tower, power supply station, fire station and supporting facilities.

Cooperation between Jiangxi International and countries along the Belt and Road is deepening. The successful implementation of the project further expanded the company's visibility and influence in overseas markets, and played a role in promoting the company's continued development of the airport business.
