On the morning of June 25, China Overseas Nepal Branch officially signed the construction contract of the Kanchanpur-Kamara Highway Project (the Nepal KK Highway Project) with the ADB branch of the Nepal Highway Bureau in Kathmandu.

China Overseas Nepal Branch received the letter of award for the Nepal KK Highway Project on May 29, 2020. In the past month, all the employees of the branch have actively prepared the project contract materials on the basis of the epidemic prevention and control work, and have always maintained good communication with the owner to lay a solid foundation for the formal signing of the project.

The Nepal KK Highway is located in the Saputari and Silaha administrative areas of the Sagarmatha area in the eastern development zone of Nepal. It is called the Kanchanpur-Kamara highway project. The highway has a total length of 86.82 kilometers and is divided into two sections: the first stage is the road upgrade project, which upgrades the existing road from 2 lanes to 4 lanes, as well as the service lanes, buildings and bridge construction along the route, including the defect notice The second stage is the road maintenance project. The project upgrade work period is 1095 days and the warranty period is 365 days; the maintenance work period is 1825 days. The project owner is the Nepal Highway Bureau (ADB Branch).

The cooperation mechanism between China Overseas and countries along the Belt and Road has been continuously improved, and economic and trade cooperation and cultural exchanges have been accelerated, laying a solid foundation for the company to continue its overseas business.
