On June 22, 2020, International Seiko and South Korea's Samsung Construction signed a contract for the steel structure subcontracting project of the Bangladesh Dhaka International Airport expansion project in the form of a cloud contract, with a contract value of more than 300 million yuan.

Dhaka International Airport is located in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. The expansion project includes the T3 terminal and the import and export cargo terminal. The total construction area is about 300,000 square meters and the total steel consumption of the project is 32,000 tons.

International Seiko has successfully won the bid for the largest section of the project, which is the section of the main terminal. The bidding section includes roof structure, facade structure and ancillary structures, with a total steel consumption of about 20,000 tons. The project is expected to start in December 2020 and the construction period will last 13 months.

With its rich construction experience, strong technical strength and good reputation, Seiko International passed the tests and finally stood out among twelve competitors, successfully winning the expansion project of Dhaka International Airport in Bangladesh.

The contract signing stage of the project coincides with the new crown epidemic situation. International Seiko actively implements the Belt and Road Initiative, responds to the severe test of the situation with practical actions, strengthens risk awareness, adheres to the bottom line thinking, and focuses on epidemic prevention production, which fully demonstrates the efforts of international Seiko Enterprising spirit.
