On June 25, 2020, Petrobras Offshore Floating Production, Storage and Offloading Unit was contracted and independently integrated by Offshore Oil Engineering Co., Ltd. (CNOOC Engineering), a subsidiary of China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC). FPSO)P70 successfully produced oil in Brazil a few days ago, marking the official commissioning of this large offshore oil and gas plant.

FPSO is the mainstream production device for the development of offshore oil and gas fields today. It can perform preliminary processing, storage and export of offshore crude oil and natural gas. It is a comprehensive large-scale offshore oil and gas production base integrating personnel residence and production command system. It is called offshore oil and gas processing. plant.

According to reports, P70 serves the Brazilian Santos Basin, with a maximum displacement of 350,000 tons, a working water depth of 2,200 meters, a crude oil processing capacity of 150,000 barrels per day, and a natural gas processing capacity of 6 million cubic meters per day. The displacement and production capacity are among the highest in the world in this field.

It is reported that the P70 was delivered in Qingdao in December 2019, arrived in Rio Bay, Brazil in late January 2020, and reached the Yanxia Oilfield in the Santos Basin a month later, officially starting the offshore connection commissioning operation.

Since March 2020, affected by the new local epidemic in Brazil, the offshore commissioning of the project was temporarily suspended. COOEC Brazil project personnel maintained communication with Petrobras through remote video and other methods, and formulated a scientific and rigorous offshore resumption plan.

The relevant person in charge of Petrobras Pedrosa said that before the outbreak in Brazil, the CNOOC project had shipped the materials to Brazil in advance, ensuring the smooth resumption of the project and production.

Offshore floating production storage and offloading device (P70 FPSO) is a world-class large-scale offshore project of 350,000 tons. It is one of the key projects of CNOOC and the countries along the Belt and Road to strengthen energy cooperation, which marks China in the field of super-large FPSO The independent construction and integration capabilities have reached the international advanced level, which not only builds a friendship bridge for China and Pakistan to expand strategic cooperation in the energy field, but also builds a good international stage for the company to exert high-end offshore engineering construction and open up the international offshore engineering market. .
