On July 13, 2020, according to the news of the 2020 Guizhou Provincial Transportation “Stabilizing Investment, Ensuring Employment and Reassuring Safety” work, Guizhou plans to build 8 highway projects (road sections) in 2020, with a total mileage of more than 600 kilometers. The overall image progress of 8 expressway projects (road sections) reached more than 75%.

The 8 expressway projects (sections) are: Dejiang to Wuchuan Expressway Project, Jianhe to Rongjiang Expressway Project, Kaili Ring Expressway Project, Xingyi Ring Expressway Project, Zunyi to Yuqing Expressway Project, Duyun to Anshun Expressway Project, Xiushan to Yinjiang Expressway Project and Meitan to Shiqian Expressway Project.

As of the end of June, the total expressive progress of the 159 kilometers of Dejiang to Wuchuan, Jianhe to Rongjiang, Kaili and Xingyi ring roads was over 85%; Zunyi to Yuqing, Duyun to Anshun, Xiushan to The total image of the 386 kilometers of the three expressway projects in India is over 70%. The Meitan-Shiqian Expressway project is planned to build a 64-km section in 2020, and the overall image progress is currently over 60%.

Dejiang to Wuchuan Expressway Project

It is reported that the Dejiang-Wuchuan Expressway has five interchanges at Qianjia (junction), Nangan, Fengle, Longdeng and Yujiawan (junction). The designed speed is 80 km/h, which is connected to the built Yanhe-Dejiang expressway, passing Nangan, Fengle and Longdeng, and ending at Yujiawan in the southwest of Wuchuan county, then connecting the built Wuchuan to Zheng'an expressway .

The total length of the route is 40.694263 kilometers. After the project is opened to traffic, it will become the most convenient transportation channel between southern Sichuan, northeastern Yunnan and northern province to Changzhutan urban agglomeration and the Yangtze River Delta Economic Zone, which will promote the concentration of the Qianbei Economic Cooperation Zone and Wuling Mountain. Local poverty alleviation and development create good conditions.

Jianhe-Rongjiang Expressway Project

The Jianhe-Rongjiang Expressway starts from the Zhaitou junction at the junction of Jianhe County and Sansui County in Southeast Guizhou, and connects the completed Sinan-Jianhe Expressway and the Shanghai-Kunming Expressway from Yuping to Sansui Highway. Whistle, Langdong, Zhaihao, and Zhongcheng are connected to the Rongjiang Hub of Huangmeng Town, southeast of Rongjiang County, and connect the completed Xiarong Expressway (Guizhou-Guizhou Boundary) to the Rongjiang Gelong Section and the Libo River under construction. To Rongjiang Expressway, the route is about 116.5 kilometers in length with a designed speed of 80 kilometers per hour.

After the completion of the Jianrong Expressway Project, it will be conducive to the integration of tourism brand resources in Jianhe and Rongjiang counties, and realize the joint development of tourism in the two places. By then, the journey from Jianhe to Rongjiang will be reduced from 2.5 hours to 1.5 hours.

Kaili Ring Expressway Project

It is understood that the Kaili Ring Expressway first implemented the construction of the North Loop and then started the construction of the South Loop.

The north section of Kaili Ring Expressway has a total length of 73.1 kilometers and a bridge-to-tunnel ratio of 56%. The starting point of the main line is located in Sankeshu Town, Kaili City, and the hub is connected to the established Shanghai-Kunming Expressway. During the period, it passes through Jiuzhai, Wengshao, Huzhuang, Wanchao, Lushan, Fengshan and other major cities, and the end point is connected to Fuquan City. The Wengma Expressway Machangping is open to traffic.

Xingyi Ring Road Expressway Project

The Xingyi Huancheng Expressway starts at Mopan Mountain in the Yilong New District, southwestern Guizhou, and connects to the Qingxing Expressway that has been opened to traffic. The junction crosses the Shankun Expressway and passes through Louna, Fengdu, Zerong and Shilu. 1. Sprinkle gold, ending in the northwest of Xingyi City, using the existing Shankun Expressway Xingyi West Interchange to build a new interchange and form a traffic flow conversion. The total length of the route is 61.393 kilometers.

Zunyi-Yuqing Expressway Project

The Zunyu Expressway Project is located in Zunyi City and Qiannan Autonomous Prefecture, and passes through 4 counties (districts) such as Yuqing County, Meitan County, Weng'an County, and Bozhou District along the line.

The project starts from the vicinity of Banpo Town, Baini Town, Yuqing County, and connects to the established Yuqing Hub of Jiangweng Expressway. It runs through Longxi Town, Goupitan Town, Yuqing County, and Huashan Township (here) from east to west. Take the cross-road Weng Expressway), then cross the Wujiang River to Shilian Township of Meitan County, then enter Zhuzang Town of Weng'an County, and finally enter Tiechang Town and Tuanxi Town of Bozhou District. The end point is connected to the southwest ring road of Zunyi City.

It is understood that the total investment of Zunyu Expressway project is 14.723 billion yuan, and it will only take one and a half hours from Zunyi to Yuqing after it is completed and opened to traffic.

The construction of this project will closely link the development of Qiannan Prefecture and Zunyi City. The project will improve transportation conditions in poor areas, optimize the investment environment, and promote industrial upgrading, which is of great significance and role to the economic development of Guizhou.

Duyun-Anshun Expressway Project

The Du'an Expressway is the first section of the Duyun-Shangri-La Expressway. It consists of the main line and two branch lines of Duyun and Gui'an. The total length is about 283 kilometers. The main line starts from Wuyang, Wangsi Town, Duyun City, and the mouth of Xiarong Expressway. Connected to Duyun section, passing through Maojian Town, Duyun City, Yaoshang, Yunwu Town, Guiding County, Chengnan and Dalong, Huishui County, after Changshun, enter Anshun City, bypass the southwestern edge of Longgong Scenic Area and reach the end Yangjiashan in Zhenning County forms a cross intersection with the Shanghai-Kunming Expressway and connects with the highway from Zhenning to Liuzhi.

Xiushan to Yinjiang Expressway Project

The Xiushan-Yinjiang Expressway project started near the Xiushan County in Chongqing City, and set up a hub to connect with the G65 Baomao Expressway. The route crosses the Tongren-Chongqing Railway and the Meijiang River in the southwest direction and then spreads along the east bank of the Pingjiang River. Townships such as Xichang and Aikou stop at the provincial boundary of Chongqing and Guizhou and connect with the Guizhou section of Chongqing Xiushan to Guizhou Yinjiang Expressway.

Meitan-Shiqian Highway Project

The main line of Meitan-Shiqian Expressway is 93.6 kilometers in length, passing through five counties and one district in Xinpu New District, Meitan County, Yuqing County, Fenggang County, Sinan County and Shiqian County in Zunyi City. The project is scheduled to open to traffic by the end of 2020. By then, the journey from Meitan County to Shiqian County will be shortened from 2 hours to 50 minutes. Editor/Peng Xue
