Actively promoting the co-construction and sharing of educational resources, Taishan Medical College and Shandong Academy of Medical Sciences merged to form Shandong First Medical University, opening a new chapter in Jitai cooperation.

Promote the integration of ecological protection. In 2017, the mountain, water, forest, field, lake and grass ecological protection and restoration project in the Taishan region was successfully selected as the second batch of national pilot projects. The project involved Jinan and Tai'an. After more than two years of joint efforts, "green mountains, green waters, lush forests, fertile fields, The "Humei" Taishan Ecological Belt has achieved initial results, providing more high-quality ecological products for the people of the two places.
