On September 9, 2020, China Communications Construction issued an announcement that in order to promote the development of green economy and effectively optimize the energy structure of Zhejiang, the Third Navigation Bureau won the bid for the wind turbine foundation and wind turbine installation project of Zhejiang Huaneng Cangnan No. 4 offshore wind farm project, with a winning bid of approximately 3.388 billion Yuan, the duration is 396 calendar days. This project is currently the largest offshore wind power project in Zhejiang Province.

The project is located in the eastern sea area of Cangnan County, Zhejiang Province. The center of the site is 36 kilometers offshore, with a sea area of 53 square kilometers and a total installed capacity of 400,000 kilowatts. It is currently the largest offshore wind power project in Zhejiang Province. The main construction content of the project includes the installation and construction of 77 sets of 5 MW wind turbine foundation and wind turbines.

After the completion of the project, it will provide a strong guarantee for the power supply in the region, and the production capacity will reach 1.22 billion kilowatt-hours of annual power generation, which is of great significance for optimizing the energy structure of Zhejiang Province, reducing coal consumption, and promoting green economic development.
