On September 9, the groundbreaking ceremony of the Dongguan Bridge was held in Jiahe New Town, Fushan District, Yantai. It is reported that the Dongguan Bridge was constructed by China Railway 14th Bureau.

The Jiahe New Town Dongguan Bridge Project in Fushan District is located at the intersection of Chengli Street, Wenchang Street, Hebin Road, Fushan District, Yantai City, across the Neijia River, connecting Hebin Road and Hebin East Road. Dongguan Bridge plans to invest 60 million yuan. The total length of the project is about 204 meters, of which the length of the bridge is about 145 meters. The two-way four-lane construction standard is planned. The main bridge is designed for cable stays and adopts a double-cable-plane fan-shaped layout. The Dongguan Bridge plans to complete the construction of the bottom structure of the bridge by the end of 2020 and is expected to officially open to traffic in October 2021.

After the completion of the Dongguan Bridge, the road network structure of Jiahe New City will be optimized, the existing transportation service level and guarantee capacity will be improved, and the production and life of urban residents will be further facilitated. Editor/He Yuting
