On the morning of September 9, 2020, the Haimen-Tongzhou section of the Nantong-Wuxi Expressway (Nantong Ring Expressway closed-loop project) officially started. The Haimen-Tongzhou section of the Nantong-Wuxi Expressway (Nantong Ring Expressway Closed Loop Project) is a planned provincial expressway in the "Jiangsu Province Expressway Network Planning (2017-2035)", number S19; it is also the "tenth of Nantong City". The project starts from Haimen City S356 along the Yangtze River, sets up the main line toll station to the north, and continuously crosses G345, Ningqi Railway, and Shanghai-Shanxi Expressway, and is laid in the west of Changle Town and the east of Sanxing, crossing the Tongqi Canal (Level V) , Go north through Erjia Town east, cross the Tonglu Canal (Level III channel), turn to the northwest after S335, travel south of Dongshe Town, cross G228, pass Xiting Town north, cross S15 Yangtong Expressway, Tuanjie River ( Etc.), Shijiang Line, passing south of Shigang Town, crossing Fugang Road, Tongzhou Bay Port Area Shugang Channel (Level III Channel), S225, Jianghai River (Level V), the route goes west through Liuqiao Town to the north and ends It ends at the Xinlian hub where the G15 Shenhai Expressway crosses the north line of the Shanghai-Tong Bridge. The total length of the route is about 65.885km. A total of 7 interchanges, including Haimen East Hub, Nantong New Airport Interchange, Second Class Interchange, Sands Interchange, Qi'an Hub, Shigang Interchange, and Xinlian Hub, have been set up across the line, including one main line toll station and one service area. The whole line is constructed according to the standard of two-way six-lane expressway, with a design speed of 120km/h.
