Recently, according to the latest official announcement documents of Fuzhou, the Mawei Metro on the east extension of Fuzhou Metro Line 2 is planned to be constructed in phases, and the east transfer section of Line 6 will be reduced. In addition, the latest plans for the F2, F3, and R1 intercity railways have been released, passing through Fuqing, Lianjiang, Changle and other places.

Mawei section of Metro Line 2 to be constructed in phases

On September 14, the official website of Fuzhou Metro issued the "Social Stability Risk Announcement for the Phase I Project of the East Extension Line of Fuzhou Rail Transit Line 2". The east extension project of Fuzhou Rail Transit Line 2 extends from the section behind Gushan Station in the first phase of Line 2 to Mawei and ends near Mawei Port. The total length of the line is about 16.8km, all of which are laid underground with 11 stations in total. , A Mawei parking lot was newly added across the line, and a main transformer in Yangli was built.

It is worth noting that the Mawei Metro was planned to have 12 stations in total, but the official route map released this time canceled the original Zhaoqiang Station and the original Mawei Bridge Station and replaced it with Xiade Station.

At the same time, Mawei Metro will be constructed in phases, and the scope of this construction is the scope of the first phase. According to the announcement, the construction scope of the first phase of the east extension line of Fuzhou Rail Transit Line 2 is from Gushan Station to Qingzhou Station. The total length of the line is about 14.6km, all of which are laid underground. There are 9 stations in total and a new Yangli main Change into one.

Reduction of stations in the east transfer section of Metro Line 6

On September 14, the official website of Fuzhou Metro also simultaneously released the "Fuzhou Rail Transit Line 6 East Transfer Section Project Social Stability Risk Publicity." The east transfer section of Fuzhou Rail Transit Line 6 starts at Wanshou Station, the early terminus of Binhai New City, Changle District, and ends at Changle Binhai New City International Bilingual School. The main line goes to Yandao Qing Road-Zhangjiang Road-International Bilingual School. The total length of the line is 5.34 km, and the underground line laying method is adopted. There are 5 stations with an average distance of 1.12km. The east transfer section no longer has new depots, parking lots, control centers, and main substations. The project uses the Henggang depot and Zhanglan parking lot constructed in the preliminary project of Line 6 to connect to the Henggang control center, and the existing operation The former main substation and Wanshou main substation provide power.

Compared with the route map published earlier, the Fuzhou Metro Line 6 east transfer section project has cancelled the original Huating Station, and the number of stations has been adjusted from 6 to 5.

F2, F3, R1 intercity railway lines have been adjusted

On September 14, the official website of the Fujian Provincial Development and Reform Commission issued the "Public Opinion Consultation on the Adjustment of the Environmental Assessment for the Construction of Fujian Intercity Railway". The construction plan of the Fujian Intercity Railway has been adjusted. According to the public notice, the adjustment includes 3 lines, namely Putian-Changle Airport Intercity Railway (Line F2), Ningde-Changle Airport Intercity Railway (Line F3), Quanzhou-Xiamen-Zhangzhou (Line R1), totaling approximately 252.1km.

Among them, the Putian-Changle Airport Intercity Railway (Line F2) will build a new section from Changle Airport to Fuqing Station. After the line leads from Changle Airport Station, it turns to the southwest along S201, Zezhu Expressway and other roads, passing through Zhanggang, Binhai West, Changle East Station, Nanling Town, Xiangfeng Town to Fuqing Station. The planned line is about 49.0km in length, with 6 stations including Changle Airport Station, Zhanggang Station, Binhai West Station, Changle East Station, Xiangfeng Station and Fuqing Station.

The Ningde-Changle Airport Intercity Railway (Line F3) will build a new section from Changle Airport to Lianjiang Station. The line will lead from the north end of Changle Airport Station. The airport section will be laid underground, and then along Jingang Road, in parallel with the airport highway second channel to the northwest. Jingwenling Town, Tantou Town, and the Langqi Bridge of S201 cross the mouth of the Minjiang River, and then along the west side of Langqi Island to the north, and then lead to Lianjiang Station via Guantou. The planned line is about 36.1km in length, with 6 stations including Changle Airport, Jinfeng, Tantou, Langqi, Guantou and Lianjiang.

The Quanzhou-Xiamen-Zhangzhou (Line R1) line connects the three cities of Quanzhou, Xiamen and Zhangzhou in series. It is the main skeleton line of the intercity railway in the Xia-Zhangquan metropolitan area; the line starts at the Quanzhou East Station of the Fuzhou-Xiamen High-speed Railway and crosses the Luoyang River into the east of Quanzhou In the urban area, cross Jinjiang via Chenghua South Road and Pingshan Road into Jinjiang City, follow the airport connection line, Heping Road to Jinjiang Airport, pass Anhai, Shuitou across Weitou Bay into Xiamen Xiang’an Airport Terminal, exit the airport and go west along S201 Passing through the east and west waters of Xiamen Island, along Maqing Road and Wengjiao Road to Zhangzhou, enter the main urban area of Zhangzhou via Longhai City and Yuanshan New District, ending at Xihu Station. The total length of the line is about 167km.

In the future, with the construction of these projects, Fuzhou's transportation network system will be further optimized to help Fuzhou build a metropolitan area on the track, actively build a comprehensive transportation system, and strive to achieve a one-hour traffic circle between major cities in northeast Fujian as soon as possible.
