On October 15, 2020, China Railway Construction announced that another local expressway project with a large investment amount in Yunnan Province has made new progress. China Railway Construction Kunlun Investment Group and 11 companies have won the Yunnan Provincial Expressway Network from Luxi to PPP project in Wenshan Prefecture of Qiubei-Guangnan-Funing Expressway Project.

The construction site of the project The project is located in the territory of Wenshan Prefecture, Yunnan Province. The route runs from north to southeast through Qiubei County, Guangnan County and Funing County of Wenshan Prefecture. The starting point is located at the junction of the west of Luxi County in Honghe Prefecture and Qiubei County in Wenshan Prefecture; the ending point is near Gefu Village on the west of Funing County in Wenshan Prefecture, with a hub connecting to the G80 Guangkun Expressway.

Project construction content The total length of the project route is 274.762km (of which the main line is 268.002km and the Lengshuigou branch is 6.76km). The Wenshan section has a total length of 247.343km, the main line is 240.583km, and the Lengshuigou branch line is 6.76km. The main line bridge is 89.671km long, the tunnel is 76.12km long, and the bridge-tunnel ratio is 61.86%. The Lengshuigou branch bridge is 3.07km long and the tunnel is 1.44km long; the bridge-to-tunnel ratio is 66.72%. There are a total of 17 interchanges on the main line, including 4 hubs, 12 general interchanges, 1 hub interchange and 1 Lengshuigou branch line; a total of 11 interchange matching connecting lines with a total length of 51.47km, including the first level The highway is 11.672km, the second-class highway is 27.468km, and the third-class highway is 12.33km. The section within the Honghe Prefecture of this project is K0+000～K27+419, with a length of 27.42km, and the section within Wenshan Prefecture is K27+419～K267+235, with a length of 240.583km, and the Nanpanjiang Puzhehei Bridge (1×40+1190) +2×40m cast-in-place box girder + suspension bridge) is included in Wenshan Prefecture for implementation.
