On the morning of November 12, local time, Amédé Kouakou, Minister of Equipment and Road Maintenance of Côte d’Ivoire, Pierre Dimba, Director of Road Administration, and Laciné Diaby, General Manager of Road Maintenance Fund, visited the Abidjan Fourth Bridge project undertaken by China Construction. CSCEC and relevant persons in charge of the project accompanied the inspection.
It is reported that the Abidjan Four Bridges Project is located in Abidjan, the economic capital of Côte d’Ivoire, with a total length of about 7.5 kilometers. The project mainly includes the construction of 1 main bridge, 1 elevated and ramp bridge, 3 crossover bridges, 1 toll station, 1 underpass, and related roads and auxiliary facilities.
At the project site, Minister Amédé Kouakou and his entourage listened in detail to reports on the construction progress, epidemic prevention and control after the resumption of work, and problems faced by the project. He said that although the progress of the project has been affected to a certain extent by factors such as the new crown pneumonia epidemic, the overall progress of the project has been good, which highly affirms China State Construction's ability to perform contracts and construction quality. He emphasized the importance and urgency of the project, and asked to continue to increase investment, solve technical problems, accelerate construction progress, and deliver public facilities to the public with high efficiency and quality.
After the project is completed and put into operation, it will help the city of Abidjan to relieve traffic pressure. China State Construction Group strives to complete the project on time and with high quality, contributing to promoting China-Science cooperation and improving the living standards of local people.
