In the long term 2050, there will be 506,600 aircraft takeoffs and landings and passenger throughput of 72 million. Plan for the number of passengers and 800,000 tons of cargo and mail throughput. In the near future, it is planned to add the first runway in the south, the extension runway in the north and the T3A terminal. In the long-term plan, the second North Runway, T3B and T4 will be added, the T1 terminal will be expanded, and the T2 terminal will be transformed.

At present, the preliminary work of the third-phase expansion project of Changchun Longjia International Airport has started, and the airport's overall plan has been formally approved, providing the necessary planning basic conditions for this expansion project.
