The joint venture formed by China Energy Construction Gezhouba International Company and Energy Heavy Industries, a subsidiary of Gezhouba Equipment Company, signed the EPC contract for the 55MW dual-fuel power station spot exchange project through the cloud platform with Senegal Sahel Cement Company. This project is the largest internal combustion engine power plant project signed by a Chinese enterprise in Cyprus.

The project is located in Thies, a neighboring province of the capital of Senegal. It is the most important supporting project for the third line expansion project of the Sahel Cement Company, the largest cement manufacturer in Senegal. The main project content includes the design of a 55MW dual-fuel power station and supporting power transmission and transformation projects. , Procurement, construction, installation and commissioning. The project is designed and constructed according to the European standard, and is equipped with a heavy oil generator set that can be transformed into a dual fuel mode, which can burn both heavy oil and gas.
