Project construction details

The first phase of the Taiyuan Metro Line 2 project starts from Xiqiao Station in the south to Jiancaoping Station in the north, and is laid underground along Renmin Road, Changzhi Road and Jiefang Road, across Xiaodian District, Yingze District, Xinghualing District and Jiancaoping District The four urban areas, with a total length of 23.647 kilometers, have 23 stations (including 7 transfer stations), 1 depot, 2 substations, and 1 control center. The line uses fully automatic operation, the maximum speed is 80 km/h, and the estimated total investment is 20.864 billion yuan. The project adopts the "A+B" PPP model, that is, part A is the civil construction part, which is led by the government and adopts self-construction mode; part B is the mechanical and electrical equipment part, and adopts the cooperation model between the government and social capital.
