On December 28, 2020, the country's first large-scale green environmental protection pilot demonstration public coal terminal, which was EPC general contracted by the Fourth Aviation Institute and constructed by the Third Aviation Administration, was opened through the Guangdong Port of Guangdong Province. The acceptance and approval signifies that the terminal has officially started production operations internationally.

Huizhou Port Tsuenwan Coal Terminal is located near Chunzhou Island, Daya Bay District, Huizhou City. It has two largest environmentally-friendly strip-shaped closed coal bunkers in Asia and two 70,000-ton coal unloading berths. The coal bunker has a length of 500 meters, a span of 118 meters, and a height of 42 meters. The building area of a single warehouse is about 60,000 square meters, and the storage area is about 50,000 square meters. It can realize the fully enclosed operation of coal in and out of the warehouse. It is the largest coal distribution in eastern Guangdong. center.

After the port is opened, the terminal will concurrently operate imported coal to provide a more solid energy guarantee for coal supply in poor coal areas such as the Pearl River Delta, Eastern Guangdong, Jiangxi, and Hunan, and help Huizhou participate in the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.Editor/Xing Wentao
