China Datang is an advance team in the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative, constantly building a new pattern of international development, and unswervingly "going out". On December 23, 2020, China Datang Group Co., Ltd. and Indonesia's Sinar Mas Group held an equity delivery ceremony for Sinar Mas PMU in the form of video.

The acquisition of the three coal-fired power generation projects under the Indonesian Sinar Mas Group are distributed on the three islands of South Sumatra, Southeast Sulawesi, and Central Kalimantan, with a total installed capacity of 600 MW. The profitability has been considerable in recent years.

Sinar Mas PMU is a subsidiary of Sinar Mas Group. Sinar Mas Group is a well-known multinational company in Indonesia with operations in Asia, North America, Europe and Australia. The total installed power generation capacity of the PMU Company acquired by China Datang this time is 600,000 kilowatts (the total designed rated installed capacity is 692,000 kilowatts), and they are all located in areas where the Indonesian economy is growing rapidly.

The cooperation between China Datang and Cotai Group is the latest cooperation achievement between China and India after the signing of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (RCEP).

Through this cooperation, the strategic partnership between the two parties will be further strengthened. The two sides took this opportunity to intensify cultural exchanges, strengthen local cooperation, and make greater contributions to promoting local economic upgrading and improving people's livelihood.
