Uzbekistan is an important hub along the Silk Road. The Uzbek government has been committed to actively participating in the construction of the Silk Road Economic Belt and promoting economic and trade exchanges and energy cooperation. As the first IPP project developed by the Uzbekistan government to attract foreign investment, the project makes full use of the abundant local natural gas resources and uses advanced and efficient H-class gas turbines to provide more than 36 million kilowatt-hours of electricity to the local power grid every day, benefiting Uzbekistan’s millions Residents are an important livelihood project planned by the Uzbekistan government. During the construction period, it will provide more than 700 local employment opportunities. At the technical level, the project adopts the world’s highest combustion temperature, highest unit power, highest efficiency gas turbine and the "zero waste water discharge" design scheme. It is the world's leading and efficient green energy-saving and environmental protection project.
Gezhouba International will be a pioneer in implementing the new development concept, give full play to the synergy of China Energy Construction, and cooperate with Zhejiang Thermal Power, Zhejiang Research Institute and other internal units of China Energy Construction to build the project into a model project of the Belt and Road.
