Port construction details

It is reported that Xiaoqinghe Jinan Port plans to build the main city port area and Zhangqiu port area, forming a pattern of "one port and two port areas". The overall planned port coastline is 6,170 meters, with a total of 27 productive berths and a total land area of 2.46 million square meters. After it is completed and put into use, it is expected that the cargo throughput will be 12.3 million tons and 15.3 million tons in 2030 and 2040. Zhangqiu Port is located 150 meters downstream of the National Highway G308 Bridge. It is an important port area of Jinan Port. It is planned to build 8 1,000-ton productive berths, covering an area of 765 mu, and is planned to be constructed in two phases. The first phase of the project plans to build 6 1,000-ton general-purpose and multi-purpose berths and supporting facilities, with a total length of 560 meters and a port throughput of 5.73 million tons per year. Complementing the main city port area, Zhangqiu Port will take the loading and unloading and storage of coal, bauxite, mineral construction materials, containers, and general cargo as its main functions, and gradually develop into a port with intermediate conversion loading, transportation organization, and portability. A comprehensive and modern inland port with basic functions such as development, modern logistics, production and life.
