Near the end of the new year, Wuhu rail transit, which has attracted much attention, has received good news again. The world's first unequal span and straddle type monorail continuous steel truss rail girder has successfully completed the rotation. After more than 140 people's hard work for 43 days and nights, at 9:26 on January 27, 2021, Wuhu Rail Transit Line 2 passed through Wuhu Xuanhua high-speed steel rail beam and successfully rotated in 38 minutes.

The total length of the steel truss track beam is 183.8m, the truss height is 5.7m, and the center distance of the main truss beam is 4.6m. The whole bridge is divided into 13 sections with a total weight of 898.2t. In order to successfully complete the erection task, the construction team divided the whole bridge into three parts for construction. The side span segments 1-4 (27 # - 28 # - pier) across Biandan River were constructed by single frame integral hoisting method, the side span segments 6-13 (28 # - 30 # - pier) across Wu Xuan Expressway and large mileage were constructed by swivel construction, and the closure segment (segment 5) of the whole bridge was set between Wu Xuan Expressway and 28 # - pier. The whole steel truss track beam needs to rotate 42.8 degrees anticlockwise to reach the design position. In order to reduce the closing time of expressway, the construction unit took the measure of turning ahead of time. At 8:48 a.m., the construction unit first tried to turn 10 degrees to the outer edge of expressway, and then continued to turn the remaining 32.8 degrees after the traffic was closed, and the speed was 1.15 degrees per minute.

In order to meet the turning target of steel track beam on January 27, China Railway Wuhu General Contracting Department organized all participating units to reverse the construction period, carry out wall chart operations, optimize the construction organization, scientifically arrange the construction, and work overtime to quickly and efficiently promote the construction of rail track beam on the basis of ensuring project quality and construction safety. While paying close attention to the prevention and control of the epidemic situation, the steel track beam team increased manpower, and implemented the "white plus black, 5 + 2 mode" to ensure the safe, effective and rapid progress of construction operation.
