Sisk spends 27 million pounds to implement A629 1b road plan

On January 28, 2021, John Sisk & Son was appointed to be responsible for the construction of the A629 1b (Halifax to Huddersfield) section improvement plan. Cost 27 million pounds (contract 2.4 billion yuan).

Preparations will begin in early 2021, and construction is expected to begin in the summer of 2021. Phase 1b is expected to be completed by the end of 2022.

Leading the future development

The project will completely change the landscape around the intersection of Calder and Hebble. New connecting road bridges and other improvements will have a real impact on the traffic flow in the area, thereby improving air quality and alleviating congestion on smaller rural roads in the area Happening.
