Recently, Chengdu Rail Transit Group has successively issued four modern tram project selection announcements, including Shibantan, Luodai, Jintai Village to Pu'an, and Biocity Modern Tram.

Shibantan Tram

The line starts at Guilong Road Station, the terminus of the second phase of Line 8, and is laid along the planned route of the third phase of Line 8, and ends at Shibantan Station with a Shibantan parking lot. The line is about 10 kilometers long and 8 stations are proposed.

Los Angeles Tram

The line starts at Xihe Station, the terminus of the second phase of Line 4, and is laid along Chengluo Avenue, the corridor of the planned Phase 3 project (eastern section) of Line 4, and ends at Luodai Station. The line is about 11 kilometers long and 6 stations are proposed.

Tram from Jintai Village to Pu'an

The line starts at Pu'an Station of Line 12, is laid along the planned route of Line 12, and ends at Jintaicun Station. The line is about 6 kilometers long and 5 stations are proposed. This project needs to consider the integrated interconnection of trams on Line 2 already in operation.

Biocity Tram

The line starts at Huilong Station, the interchange station of Lines 5 and 6, and is laid south along Jiannan Avenue to Yong'an South Station, then westward along the planned road to Sanguanmiao Station, and then northward along the freight avenue to Anrong Station, eastward along the current biological city road to the biological city station, northward along the Xinshuanghuang Road, the biological city north road and planned roads to the Lanjiagou station of line 6, after passing the TOD integrated development area and then back Go to Huilong Station. The line is about 21 kilometers long, with 21 stations and 2 parking lots.

After these projects are completed, they will further supplement the level of Chengdu's rail transit network, support the construction of a green transportation system in the park city, and help improve the efficiency of urban commuting and the level of public transportation services.
